Introduction to Herbal Medicine

Mother Nature has provided us with an abundance of healing gifts, but accurate information on usage of these gifts is not quite as abundant. Sift through the vague, sometimes contradictory information about Herbal Medicine Making available on the internet in this course on the basics taught by Rossana Ines Rossi.

In this introductory workshop, attendees will create their own take-home remedies while discovering the traditional and folkloric uses of common kitchen herbs, be offered basic recipes for making remedies at home, and discuss tools for discerning trustworthy information after the end of this workshop.

Attendees will leave with greater confidence in researching and creating plant-based remedies. Participants are greatly encouraged to share their own family’s traditional remedies and wisdom.

Come prepared to get your hands dirty… and take notes! Herbs, jars, and handouts with recipes and resources will be provided. Attendees can expect to take home their own handmade remedies.
