You will not detect the “typical scent” of roses, as neither Rose Absolute nor Rose Essential Oil are used. When the actual petals are used in an infusion, the aroma is subtler and the petals’ healing gifts are in an appropriate proportion to the quantity that is used on the skin. This rose oil will carry you off to your own personal garden, no matter where you are.
Rose petals are customarily used in facial creams because they make skin beautiful. It does this by strengthening capillary walls, aiding blood flow to the skin’s surface, therefore allowing the skin to regenerate and heal itself. Apricot Kernel oil, from the same botanical family as roses, nourishes and heals the skin as well, being readily absorbed without any greasy after-effects. The aroma is reminiscent of almonds.
